About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, storytelling skills, and the ability to transform raw footage into engaging and polished content. You will work closely with our production and creative teams to create high-quality videos that align with our brand’s vision and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit raw video footage into compelling content, including cutting, sequencing, and adding transitions.
- Enhance video quality with color correction, sound mixing, and visual effects.
- Collaborate with the creative team to ensure videos meet project objectives and deadlines.
- Create and edit promotional videos, advertisements, tutorials, and other video formats.
- Incorporate motion graphics, animations, and text overlays as required.
- Optimize videos for various platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, and other social media.
- Stay updated on the latest video editing trends, software, and techniques.
- Manage and organize video assets and maintain a library of edited and raw footage.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 1–3+ years of video editing experience (portfolio required).
- Software Proficiency: Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of video storytelling and pacing.
- Knowledge of audio editing and synchronization.
- Familiarity with color grading and visual effects.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in 2D/3D animation.
- Knowledge of graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Experience in creating content for YouTube or social media platforms.
- Familiarity with camera equipment and basic videography is a plus.
